Shipping policy

The Sawle Mill is committed to fast shipping and delivery of your online order. Therefore, any order placed through our website is generally shipped via UPS within 2 business days. Once your order has shipped an automated email will be sent to the address you have provided containing tracking number(s) for your order which maybe used at to follow your order and estimate the time of arrival. While we generally use UPS for all of our shipping for orders placed online we reserve the right to select a different carrier without prior notice and without your consent. UPS can not ship to PO Boxes orders that provide a PO Box as the ship to address will be canceled. 

From time to time we may advertise products that are not suitable for shipment via standard UPS service. These items will not feature a buy button on our website, to order these items please call us during normal business hours to order these items. In most instances these items will be shipped LTL (less than truckload) via common carrier, which we will determine based on factors such as cost, previous experience and timeliness of expected delivery.

If a portion of your order is damaged during shipping please contact us by telephone and include you order or invoice number and we will at our sole discretion replace the damaged portion of the order or issue a refund to the card used at the time of purchase. In an effort to keep costs low you may be asked to provide documentation of the damage (ie. digital photographs), prior to issuing a replacement or refund. If documentation of damage is requested it maybe used by us to improve our product packaging and/or submit a damage claim against the shipper.


The Sawle Mill is committed to providing a superior product. However, in the event that you recieve a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately to report the damage. We only accept returns for damaged or defective items within 30 days of carrier delivery confirmation. After reviewing your request we will issue a refund or replacement at our sole discretion. In certain instances we will request that the order be returned to us. Failure to return a product after you have been requested to do so if you have been issued a refund or replacement could result in additionally charges to your card provided at the time of the original purchase. 

We may at our sole discretion issue refunds for returns for other reasons besides defective or damage. These will be determined on a case by case basis. In some instances you may be responsible for the cost of return shipping and we reserve the right to asses upto a 10% restocking fee for returns for reasons other than defect or damage.
